The Season of Giving
Christmastime can be a beautiful time of year. We spend it with family and friends. Bestowing gifts and enjoying a plentitude of good food. Many love this time of year and all it brings. But, let’s be honest…There are many who see this season as a reminder of their loved one lost. A reminder that they do not have the money to celebrate with gifts and plentiful food. This time of year can bring depression and sadness for those in need. But, we can be a blessing for others.
I want to encourage everyone to be a blessing this holiday season. Be in the spirit of giving and bless a friend, neighbor, coworker, or even a stranger. You don’t have to be wealthy to bless another. Bake a loaf of bread. Fill a stocking with goodies. Drop off a few toys to a family in need. You may never know the impact you will make on this person or family, but it could be the best thing that happened to them all year.
How do I help?
Need help finding someone to bless? Ask a church member, check with a school nurse, look for a charity in need, it won’t be hard to find someone in need of encouragement and love. Many times we think about doing this and the season gets busy and we put off. I encourage you to make it a priority!
Doing for others is our greatest gift. We can raise the vibration of the universe with these gifts of love. Making the world a better place, one act of kindness at a time. I hope you will consider participating this season. Be a blessing ♥
